Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

2020 was a difficult year for all of us in a great many ways, and as we say goodbye to it’s unique challenges and hardships we look forward to sharing a positive and happier 2021!

Normally around this time we would like to be welcoming all our interstate friends over the holiday period – but with borders once again closing we’re making an effort to stay in touch with you online. Join us on Facebook or Instagram as we share some of the diverse treasures we have in store, as well as other fun facts and dinosaur news that unfolds throughout 2021.

The range of our products available online is bigger and better every week so remember to come back often and see what’s new. This month for example you can now see some of our impressive Chinese stone carvings, such as this stunning carnelian Galloping Horses statue, perfect for really helping manifest the successful and joyous 2021 we all hope for.

The galloping horse’s motif, 万马奔腾 (wàn mǎ bēn téng), has a strong place in Chinese art and cultural history, finding itself expressed in many mediums from beautiful carvings like ours, to paintings, dance and song. The horses are representative of strength and power, taking charge of one’s destiny and success.

You may not be able to come to us just yet - but our online store is here to help bring some of that Dinosaur magic to you!

If you are planning on visiting us from interstate please make sure you check the current restrictions and guidelines proided by ACT Health before you make your trip. Help us keep eachother safe!

Wishing you all the best for 2021 - The National Dinosaur Museum
